Lot #128: Vintage Mid-Century Modern Solid Copper Jewelry Lot

Dating from the late 1940s to the 1950s, this collection showcases the rich, warm patina and striking sculptural dimensions that made copper the definitive metal of the American Arts & Crafts revival era. The lot features three cohesive sub-groups highlighting popular mid-century themes: a stylized maritime nautical suite, an organic botanical leaf pairing, and a classic textured geometric set. While these pieces do not bear maker's stamps or signatures, their construction, crisp hand-finished stampings, and distinctive forms strongly resemble the highly collectible designs produced by iconic mid-century houses like Renoir of California. Anonymity of Mid-Century Copper: During the 1950s boom of copper jewelry, independent artisans and competing workshops often produced high-quality stamped designs without markings to supply local boutiques or department store counters.Hand-Finished Details: Close inspection reveals excellent shear-cut and punched details, dimensional layering, and hand-polished beveling typical of high-end post-war costume jewelry production.
