- Remarkable, highly collectible lot of Canadian automobilia: 24 original, empty 1-lb. St. Lawrence Grease lithograph tins, complete with their rare original St. Lawrence Motor Oil cardboard shipping case from Gananoque, Ontario. - The Tins: Each 1-lb. tin features the striking red, white, and blue "St. Lawrence Grease" lithographed graphics. The front includes the text: "St. Lawrence Grease has been manufactured to give the best possible lubrication and to meet the requirements of today's equipment." The base of the tins reads: "St. Lawrence Oil & Supply Co. Limited - Gananoque, Ontario". All 24 tins are empty and include their respective metal lids. - The Box: The cardboard outer box is stamped for "24 - 1 Lb. Tins" from the same manufacturer. It features a bold, vintage script reading "St. Lawrence Motor Oil" on the sides. - The St. Lawrence Oil & Supply Co. Limited operated out of Gananoque, Ontario, and closed its doors in the early 1950s - Condition: Exceptional "new old stock" survivor condition. The tins retain bright, vibrant color with very minimal shelf wear. No heavy rust or crushing. The interior of the tins is remarkably clean.
