- The reverse features a historical merchant label from the prominent Photographic Stores Limited (Developing and Printing), located at 65 Sparks St., Ottawa,
- The artwork is in stable condition, housed under protective glass. The paper shows natural age-toning and prominent foxing (brown spotting) primarily concentrated along the lower margins, consistent with age. The vintage frame shows light surface wear and minor scuffing, but remains structurally secure. Sold as is

- Primitive wooden violin case, colloquially known as a &#34;coffin case&#34; due to its distinctive historic shape. 
- This authentic piece features its original aged black exterior finish, showing a beautiful rustic patina, natural wear, and honest weathering consistent with its great age.
- The interior is lined in its classic, vibrant green felt fabric, complete with integrated bow slots, a built-in neck rest, and a dedicated storage compartment for rosin and small accessories. 
- The case retains its original central wire swing handle, structural metal hinges, and a historic brass keyhole latch mechanism (missing one latch)
