The Material: The lamp base is constructed from heavyweight cast brass (or patinated spelter/gilt bronze), which was meticulously poured into molds to capture the intense depth and texture. The cool-to-the-touch metal, crisp mold lines, and natural age tarnish strongly verify its authentic vintage metalwork composition. The Mythological Iconography: The central urn is beautifully cast in relief with classical festive motifs, most notably featuring the face of Dionysus (Bacchus), the ancient Greek god of wine, theater, and fertility, surrounded by fruiting grapevines and floral garlands.
