Lot #101: Vintage Wood African Hand Carved Wall Panel

This is a lovely example of mid-century African Folk Art in the form of a hand-carved wood wall panel. The carving depicts a village scene with eleven villagers dancing and beating drums and shaking rattles. There are also carved symbols of plants. Around the scene is an intricately carved “frame." It displays beautifully and offers a bit of charm, a bit of whimsy and all the vintage folk artsy vibes you could hope for. Hand-carved African wood panel measures 42” wide, 12” tall and about 1" deep. It's in beautiful shape with no cracks or damage to the wood. Ready for display!
