A matching set of vintage Philippine papier-mâché vessels. Crafted using the traditional Taka technique from the Philippines, these architectural pieces are beautifully hand-painted and finished with a high-gloss lacquer designed to perfectly mimic heavy Mediterranean Majolica or Mexican Talavera ceramics. Because they are made from an authentic molded paper core rather than clay, they are uniquely lightweight, making them incredibly easy to move and rearrange around your home. Dimensions: Largest Round Pot: 15" Tall x 18" Wide (An incredibly rare, large statement piece!) Smaller Round Pot: 13" Tall x 15” Wide Square Planter: Approx. 11" Tall x 11" Wide Rectangular Trough: 7” Tall x 24” Wide Condition Details: * Exterior: The exterior hand-painted vibrant yellow rims, floral details, and bird motifs are bright and gorgeous on all four pieces. They present beautifully for display. * Interior wear: The long rectangular trough planter shows interior paint peeling and cracking down to the paper core from past moisture exposure (see photos). One of the larger round pots has a small amount of minor paint peeling on the interior, but it is not significant. The remaining pieces are clean inside. Note: Because these are authentic vintage paper-mâché, they are intended for indoor decorative use, artificial plants, or dry storage. If you plan to use live plants, a plastic water-tight liner must be placed inside to protect the paper core. Features the original "Made in the Philippines" foil authenticity sticker on the rim.
