The lot features a beautifully preserved 5-piece chocolate brown set with wooden handles by FE Belgium (the legendary foundry behind Descoware), along with an iconic vintage Le Creuset saucepan in their signature Flame Orange finish. FE Belgium Large Round Casserole / Dutch Oven: Features model code M/23-D 26 (26cm diameter). Includes matching original lid. FE Belgium Medium Saucepan: Features model code M/8-C 18 (18cm diameter). Includes matching original lid and turned wood handle. FE Belgium Small Saucepan: Features model code M/80-A 14 (14cm diameter). Includes matching original lid and turned wood handle. FE Belgium Large Skillet / Frying Pan: Features matching wood handle and clean, off-white enameled interior. Le Creuset Saucepan: Classic Flame (Volcanic Orange) gradient colorway. Bottoms feature the highly sought-after, early-era stylized "FE" emblem inside the grid casting, which dates these pieces prior to the full American rebranding. Wood handles are tight and structurally intact. Le Creuset Saucepan: Please Note: The wooden handle extension is missing from the cast iron receiver stub. The stub threads are clear and ready to accept a reproduction or donor replacement wooden handle. FE Belgium (Descoware): Manufactured by the Fonderie et Emaillerie St. Trond in Belgium, this cookware is highly celebrated by culinary historians. FE pioneered a lighter-weight cast iron technique, weighing approximately 35% less than standard French competitors while maintaining impeccable heat retention. It was famously praised by Julia Child, who regularly chose FE/Descoware over Le Creuset on her television show The French Chef.
