Tilting Ice Water Pitcher & Stand – Late 19th Century Quadruple Plate – Pattern #1515 Beautifully ornate, authentic Victorian-era tilting ice water pitcher on its original swing-arm stand, manufactured by the highly collectible Woodman-Cook Company out of Portland, Maine. Exhibiting brilliant Aesthetic Movement sensibilities, this mechanical statement piece showcases intricate embossed floral reliefs on the spout, finely detailed open-work casting along the structural swing frame, and a handsome multi-faceted, tapering cylindrical body. The interior features a clean, white insulated liner designed historically to keep ice water cold for long periods on a grand Victorian dining table.
