Many of them have additional decoration with tiny beads, glitter or paint. They are beautiful and there is a total of about thirty eggs. Some duplicates exist. No Christmas is complete without revisiting this classic Dr. Seuss story of the mean-hearted Grinch who wanted to steal Christmas but ended up understanding the true meaning of the holiday. Complete with Dr. Seuss's whimsical illustrations. Paper cover is a little rough but book is in good condition. If you don't have this classic in your personal library here is your chance! This has a published date of 1957. Many of the hallmarks for a first edition are met but the price on the inside cover should say 2.50 if it was a first edition. The price on this copy is 2.95. It appears this was painted and glazed in 1982 by someone with the initial S. P. I did photograph and point out 2 cracks, one larger than the other. But neither one seems to be affecting the overall appearance, and you have to look really closely to see them.
