Lot #34: Korg Volca Drum Digital Percussion Synthesiser

Up for auction is a never used Korg Volca Drum. If you are looking for a standard drum machine that just triggers basic acoustic samples, this isn't it! The Volca Drum is a incredibly deep 6-part, 2-layer DSP modelling synth engine. It lets you design unique percussion sounds entirely from scratch using sine, sawtooth, and noise waveforms. It does punchy kicks and snappy snares beautifully, but it absolutely rules at creating weird, metallic, plucky, and glitchy industrial textures. Combined with the built-in waveguide resonator for physical acoustic modelling, bit reduction, and overdrive distortion, you can craft microtonal patterns and polyrhythms you won’t hear anywhere else. It features a classic 16-step sequencer with motion recording to automate your knob tweaks in real-time. It features a built-in speaker and runs on 6 AA batteries, allowing you to build intricate tracks anywhere. It easily integrates into a larger rig or DAW via standard MIDI IN and 3.5mm Sync I/O. - Brand: Korg - Model/Series: Volca Drum - Item Type: Digital percussion synthesiser - Condition: New / In original box - Includes: Original box - Color/Finish: Silver / gray (packaging) - Features: Digital synthesis, sequencer, MIDI-compatible, battery-powered Pickup category timeslot {A}
