Lot #305: Vintage Braun KSM 1 Coffee Grinder Designed by Reinhold Weiss 1960's

This is a vintage Braun KSM 1 coffee grinder, a classic piece of mid-century functionalism designed by Reinhold Weiss under the leadership of design director Dieter Rams in the 1960s. This specific unit features a vibrant, highly collectible yellow casing that perfectly captures the bold aesthetic of Braun's iconic era. The minimalist, cylindrical body is constructed from durable molded plastic, accented by a single white power button on the front and the distinctive vintage Braun logo. It comes complete with its original clear plastic lid, which doubles as the safety switch mechanism, and a hardwired power cord. A beautiful example of industrial design history, this grinder shows minimal wear consistent with age, making it an excellent functional display piece for collectors of modernist design, Braun electronics, or mid-century kitchenware.
