Lot #10002456: Vintage Porcelain Tea Cups and Saucer Set

This charming vintage porcelain tea cup and saucer set features delicately hand-painted pink flowers with rich green foliage set against a crisp white background. The scalloped edges and graceful gold gilt trim on the rim and handle reflect the refined craftsmanship typical of mid-20th century fine porcelain production, likely of Japanese or Continental European origin. The botanical floral motif — featuring soft pink blooms with yellow centers and dramatic dark carnation-style flowers — is rendered with an artistic painterly quality that elevates this beyond a purely utilitarian piece. The paneled, ridged body of the cup adds elegant structure and visual interest. This set would be a beautiful addition to a vintage tea service collection, a curated display shelf, or a charming gift for a tea lover who appreciates the artistry of classic porcelain. It pairs wonderfully with other floral chinaware pieces from the same era. Condition: Good — Gold gilt trim shows minor wear on handle and saucer edge; overall paint and floral decoration remain vibrant with no chips or cracks visible Pickup category timeslot {A}
