Lot #105: Royal Doulton & Coalport Lady Figurines & Miniature Character Tobies

The Royal Doulton & Coalport Lady Figurines • The Tall Lady (Back Left): An elegant, hand-painted porcelain figure showcasing a flowing, high-gloss caramel-brown and gold crinoline ballgown. This style is highly characteristic of the mid-century "Ladies of Fashion" or "Pretty Ladies" collections produced by makers like Royal Doulton or Coalport. • The Lady in Pink (Center Foreground): A smaller miniature figurine depicting a girl in a multi-tiered, ruffled pink dress with her head gently tilted. • The Lady in Blue (Back Right): A classic historic-revival figurine clad in a deep periwinkle blue gown, capturing a poise and styling highly reminiscent of the famous Royal Doulton Williamsburg series. The Miniature Character Tobies (Bottom Row) • Tucked at the feet of the elegant porcelain ladies are three miniature Royal Doulton Character Jugs (frequently called Toby Mugs). These small-scale, highly detailed head vessels depict historical or folkloric characters—including maritime sailors and working-class figures complete with sculpted hats, expressive faces, and integrated handles on the back.
