Lot #7: Vintage Afghan Baluchi War Rug Navy Blue & Red Architectural Geometric Tribal

Hand-knotted Vintage Afghan Baluchi pictorial "War Rug". Woven by Baluch tribal weavers in Afghanistan, these unique rugs deviate from traditional floral and medallion patterns to document local landscapes, showcasing highly stylized, geometric depictions of architectural structures, towers, and symbolic modern motifs. The composition is rendered in a deeply moody, classic Baluch palette featuring a midnight indigo navy field balanced by rich terracotta red, charcoal black, and earth-toned olive and tan.
