Vintage Lomonosov LFZ Porcelain Miniature Dog Figurines - Set of 2 (Mutt & Dachshund) - Red Export Stamp "Made in USSR" - 1st Quality highly collectible set of two vintage porcelain miniature dog figurines produced by the renowned Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (LFZ) in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), Soviet Union. This set includes a beautifully contoured Mutt/Mongrel ("Дворняжка") lying down with its head turned, paired with a classic sleek Dachshund. Authenticity & Markings: Both figurines feature the original, official red underglaze factory backstamp on their base, displaying the stylized "ЛФЗ" monogram above "MADE IN USSR". • 1st Quality Grade: In the strict Soviet factory categorization, the red color of the stamp signifies the highest production tier (1st Quality). • Stricter Quality Control: The English inscription "Made in USSR" verifies that these specific pieces were designated for international export markets, meaning they underwent superior structural inspection before leaving the factory. • Vintage Eras: Based on the font structure and specific markings, these figures date precisely from the 1970s–1980s Soviet era. Founded in 1744 by Empress Elizabeth, the Imperial Porcelain Manufactory was the exclusive supplier to the Russian Tsars. Renamed the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory in 1925 during the Soviet era, the company became globally celebrated for its delicate, translucent soft porcelain and masterful animalier sculptures. Designed by legendary Soviet sculptors, these miniature animal sets perfectly capture life and anatomy through stylized, mid-century minimalism. They are highly sought after by porcelain collectors and vintage decor enthusiasts alike. Pickup category timeslot {A}
