SIAM STERLING FINE VINTAGE JEWELLERY, STERLING SILVER NIELLOWARE 2-PIECE SET / DEMI-PARURE BROOCH AND SCREW BACK EARRINGS, stamped SIAM STERLING. These silver and black Thai pieces were popular in the 1950s through 70s. Niello or NIELLOWARE is created by carving out areas of the silver and then baking a sulfur/metals powder in the carved out areas. This jewellery was often sent to American wives / girlfriends from their soldier husbands / boyfriends on leave from fighting in Vietnam Nam, or stationed in Thailand during the Vietnam Nam war. The stamp SIAM was used to represent the Thai craftsmanship community. An amazing, wearable set of history! Included is the box making it ideal for easy storage, gift giving or re-sale.(Parures/Demi-parures or sets of jewelry items with the same design are often considered to be more desirable. Over time matching items were sometimes lost or separated. Such sets give the owner the flexibility of wearing items alone or to make a greater statement as a set.)

Please come to the later time if you have multiple category time slots, but arrive with enough time to pack and move your items before the doors close. By departing from the site you agree that you have all the correct items and are satisfied with them. Before leaving the site you must discuss any issues with MaxSold team lead (for MaxSold managed sales) or the Seller/Representative (for Seller Managed sales where no Maxsold personnel are present)

Pickup time windows are fixed and limited. You will be required to select a pickup window prior to the auction pickup. Please be sure to select a time slot that you are certain you will be able to attend. Alternate pickup times may or may not be accommodated and if accommodated may result in additional fees.
Claims for refunds can be made only in certain limited circumstances. Where an error in the lot description has occurred on an item you purchased, let the seller (or their representative) know immediately upon pickup so that it may be rectified. Except for limited circumstances, refunds are subject to processing fees.
MaxSold does not arrange shipping; however, you can make your own arrangements at your own risk.
Current bids cannot be changed or removed once submitted and each one is a promise that you will honour the bid and all the terms.
