Fourteen vintage books. Smallest 6" x 4" and largest 8" x 6". titles include: Leaves from the Journals of our Life in the Highlands 1848-1861 by Queen Victoria ( good condition, some scratches to cover and foxing on pages); Select Poems of Coleridge, Campbell, Longfellow 1896 (wear on cover especially spine, some foxing on pages); Four leather bound small books- Hard Cash by Charles Reade, The Romany Rye by Borrow, Night & Morning by Lord Lytton, The Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens ( pages attached but loose. some discolouration of leather covers from light damage) ; A Visit to my Birthplace by Selina Bunbury (pages attached but spine is loose. Wear on cover and spine). Four Mazo de la Roche novels- Jalna, Mary Wakefield, Finch's Fortune & Wakefields Course ( worn covers and spines. Dust cover ripped on one book) ; The Seats of the Mighty by Gilbert Parker 1917 (worn spine. good condition) ; Little Journeys to the Homes of English Authors by Elbert Hubbard, Vol VII. 1899 (rough cut pages, wear to spine and cover. good condition); The Doctor by Ralph Connor( spine of book missing and is taped). Come to pick up at Category B time-slot.

Picking up your new treasures should be just as easy as bidding on them! For a smooth pickup experience, keep these tips in mind:

2. For invoices over $300, you will need to show a photo ID and credit card used for purchase for verification.
3. If you have any questions at pickup you can always ask our Maxsold Team Lead or the Seller managing the pickup.

Time slots are listed in the description and often at end of title. Please come to the later time if you have multiple category time slots, but arrive with enough time to pack and move your items before the doors close. By departing from the site you agree that you have all the correct items and are satisfied with them. Before leaving the site you must discuss any issues with MaxSold team lead (for MaxSold managed sales) or the Seller/Representative (for Seller Managed sales where no Maxsold personnel are present)

Policies for Pickup
Pickup time windows are fixed and limited. You will be required to select a pickup window prior to the auction pickup. Please be sure to select a time slot that you are certain you will be able to attend. Alternate pickup times may or may not be accommodated and if accommodated may result in additional fees.
Claims for refunds can be made only in certain limited circumstances. Where an error in the lot description has occurred on an item you purchased, let the seller (or their representative) know immediately upon pickup so that it may be rectified. Except for limited circumstances, refunds are subject to processing fees.
Maxsold does not arrange shipping; however, you can make your own arrangements at your own risk.
Current bids cannot be changed or removed once submitted and each one is a promise that you will honour the bid and all the terms.
