This antique black desk features a top that lifts and folds back to reveal a antique green-colored pull-out writing surface and a three compartment interior. The top folds back down to a flat surface that can be used as a console table.
The desk would be perfect for a childs study area or as a more decorative bill paying station.
The table is sturdy and has black legs with gold accents.
The front and top of the desk are decorated with hand painted fruits, flowers, and leaves in a gold/red/brown color. The top and sides also contain a hand-painted gold border. The refinishing of the table was done by a local Long Island artisan Mr. Drinkwater in the 1970s
As noted, the writing space pulls out an additional six inches from the front of the desk for additional roominess. There are three compartments to store writing materials.
This table will be located on the first floor of the home (near an exterior door) and weighs between 20 and 25 lbs.

Policies for Pickup
1. Buyers MUST show a copy of your PAID INVOICE (either paper or on your phone).
2. All buyers with invoices over $300 must be prepared to show a photo ID and the credit card used on file before items will be released.
3. No small children or animals are allowed on site, as moving furniture and heavy items can be dangerous.
4. Washrooms are not available for use.
5. By departing from the site, you agree that you have all the correct items and are satisfied with them. Before leaving the site please discuss any issues with the MaxSold team lead or the Seller/Representative (for Seller Managed Sales where no MaxSold staff are present).
6. MaxSold team members do not have packing materials and are not allowed to carry or load your purchased items. Please have adequate supplies and help to safely remove your purchases.
Buyers MUST wear a MASK if required by your local health and safety guidelines.

Policies for Pickup
Pickup time windows are fixed and limited. You will be required to select a pickup window prior to the auction pickup. Please be sure to select a time slot that you are certain you will be able to attend. Alternate pickup times may or may not be accommodated and if accommodated may result in additional fees.
Claims for refunds can be made only in certain limited circumstances. Where an error in the lot description has occurred on an item you purchased, let the seller (or their representative) know immediately upon pickup so that it may be rectified. Except for limited circumstances, refunds are subject to processing fees.
MaxSold does not arrange shipping; however, you can make your own arrangements at your own risk.
Current bids cannot be changed or removed once submitted and each one is a promise that you will honour the bid and all the terms.
