Carved painted softwood "subut" bird (hornbill) sculpture from Iatmul people, Yamok village area, Middle Sepik River region, Papua New Guinea - handle with care as paint is chalk-like and will come off on fingers and spread; bill has a long-ago repaired break. African top-blown wooden flute from Lobi people, Burkina Faso. Native American bead spin drum (compare painted design with Zuni bear motif). Gourd rattle. Native American (sold as "Navajo") gourd decor with basketwork around the opening. Bring packing material.
