The legend of the founding of Vilnius says that while hunting, the Grand Duke of Lithuania Gediminas stopped for the night at the place where Vilnius now stands . At night, he had a dream in which an iron wolf was howling on a high mountain . In the morning, Lizdeika, the duke's squire Lizdeika, explained that the dream means that a city will rise in this place, and the word about it will spread widely. Then a mound was filled in at the confluence of the rivers and a castle was built .
Condition: Pretty good condition for a 65 year old wood carving. Some wear.
Measurements: Approximately 10 x 9.5 x 3.5 inches.

Claims for refunds can be made only in certain limited circumstances. Where an error in the lot description has occurred on an item you purchased, let the seller (or their representative) know immediately upon pickup so that it may be rectified. Except for limited circumstances, refunds are subject to processing fees.
