Vintage Handmade Hand-Painted Pottery Bowl from Eildon Hills, Scotland

A lovely handmade and hand painted pottery/bowl made in the Eildon Hills region of Scotland, circa 1940's. The rounded oval bowl has a scalloped edge with a detailed hand painted picture on the front featuring white and purple flowers and green leaves. Above the flowers to the side is painted "Eildon". The rest of the bowl is pale pink on the top half fading into a pale green on the bottom half, while the interior of the bowl is glazed muted apple green. The contrast between the mat finish on the exterior and the glazed finish on the interior is unique and it is a one of kind piece. Condition: Good vintage condition - painting of flowers and bottom of bowl show wear befitting to an 80+ year old item Measurements: Approximately 2 3/4 inches tall , 4 1/2 inches long , 3 1/3 inches wide
