The concert was held on September 7, 1964.As I was just 15 years old, my parents  drove me from the suburbs to Toronto  and dropped me off in front of Mapleleaf Gardens, where I was meeting a friend.When I went to enter, I looked in my <span class="bg-warning nswreasons" id="rid-46"><span class="bg-warning nswreasons" id="rid-46">purse</span></span> and was unable to find my wallet, where I had stored my ticket.  I was mortified and also concerned that I had been a victim of theft.The ticket-taker was very understanding, and let me in with my companion vouching for me. ( I cant imagine that happening at a concert today!)We were escorted by a security guard and asked to wait near the entry to our seats. We were not able to take our seats until  the concert began. The strategy was that if someone had stolen my ticket, then security would be able to nab them because they were sitting in my seat.That never happened.  As the lights dimmed and the screaming of frantic teen girls began, I took my seat to hear some of the most famous Beatles songs.Later, when I was picked up to go home, I learned that my wallet had fallen out of my <span class="bg-warning nswreasons" id="rid-46"><span class="bg-warning nswreasons" id="rid-46">purse</span></span> on the drive into the city and it had slid underneath the <span class="bg-warning nswreasons" id="rid-35"><span class="bg-warning nswreasons" id="rid-35">car seat</span></span>.Consequently, I had a ticket from 1964 that was never used and  which still has the adult admit one portion on the bottom.<br></div>

He finished high school in Montreal and won one of fifty spots to attend the cole des Beaux-Arts. He left the school early when one of his professors told him there was nothing more they could teach him.Toller knew what he wanted. He moved to Toronto to train with legendary skating <span class="bg-warning nswreasons" id="rid-52">coach</span> Ellen Burka and to paint and paint and paint. He had his first solo show well before his twentieth birthday.After years of skatingOlympics, world championships, Ice Capades, theatre and television he left Toronto for San Miguel de Allende, a colonial-era city in Mexicos central highlands. This UNESCO world heritage site is known for its baroque Spanish architecture, thriving arts scene and cultural festivals. Toller bought an estate with a garden paradise on which he lived, worked and created until his fatal heart attack on January 23, 2015 at the age of 65.In addition to creating thousands of oil paintings and exquisite line drawings, Toller experimented with materials beyond canvaspainting on ostrich eggs, wooden religious statues and furniture. He designed enormous elaborate chandeliers in metal and blown glass. He created a series of handwoven carpets. He organized a fashion show of hand-painted leather jackets and trench coats.
