Rare.Morton Myles brought mod chic to the general public in the 60s, making great design affordable for every lady or lady-ish gal of the day. Myles hit the map of mid century popularity when First Lady Jackie Kennedy wore one of his "controversial" form fitting, sleeveless dresses on Good Friday in Palm Beach, Florida in the 60s. She was later photographed in the same dress by Richard Avedon for the cover of "Look" magazine.This dress is in excellent vintage condition featuring the op art design influences of Myles by incorporating a shirt waist style maxi hostess dress using a geometric pattern. It has an amazing signature collar of the era, snap front accentuated by rhinestone buttons, is fully lined, a nice full, flowing skirt, and self covered matching belt. It is beautifully tailored with a flair of whimsey.This dress does not look to have been worn. There is no fabric label, but I'm pretty sure it is polyester.
