Lot #26: Ironstone & Transfer Ware Butter Pats+

Gorgeous collection of old ironstone and transfer ware! We will start with the heavily crazed white ironstone pitcher. It is 6 1/2 tall. It is marked on bottom: IRONSTONE CHINA J & G MEAKINAlong with the Lion, Unicorn,Crown and coat of arms. There are no chip or cracks although heavily crazed, could still be used. Next there is a set of 7 Small bread plates . Made of thick white ironstone with gorgeous blue transfer ware. There are flowers and at the bottom there is a picture showing the ocean with the riding sun and a channel marker, maybe someone know the significance of this but I do not. A few of these have the number 5 on back others nothing. They are 5 across good old condition only on tiny chip on the rim of one plate then there are 2 plates with different shades of purple one marked Old ivory, Syracuse china5 1/2 good shape the other is 7 across and not marked on back also good shape and last there are 3 butter pats the red and white one is thick and marked Shenango China, New Castle Pa. Good shape 3 across. There is a lovely brown transfer ware butter that is 3, good shape and LAST one is a black transfer ware 4 unmarked good shape. See pictures for condition!!! All are old and used but only chips are noted Bring packing material. I just noticed that one of the blue plates is different.. it looks more like a saucer see pictures Bring packing material.
