Squirrel Glass Pitcher Attributed to Ichendorf Milano

<div>Stunning, slender lamp designed by Canadian pottery icon, Maurice Chalvignac in the 1960s. It includes one of his signature shades. Inner lining is red, and outer jute string in vertical repeating lines is contrasting black.It's a great size for a space where you want a sleeker look. There are a few area of wear on the jute but no strings are broken through. You could easily touch it up with black paint or marker...or just leave as is.                 <div>Measures 10" tall and features brown and orange marbled effect on matted off-white bisque clay. Makers stamp on the bottom dates the piece to the 1980's.Nemadji pieces are made out of either coloured or white clay from the region in Minnesota where they originated. Each piece is hand-thrown and fired in a kiln, even though it is left unfinished on the outside, one of the reasons it is unique and become so collectible.There is a small scuff mark, I haven't tried to remove.
