An expression of the medieval genre of courtly love in a prosimetrum style, a combination of both prose and verse. 6. Round the Hearthstone by William M. Thayer, 1908. 7. London Society. An illustrated Magazine. Volume XI. 1867. 8. Bad Boy and His Pa by Geo. W. Peck. 1883. Through the Bad Boy's wisdom and Peck's keen observations, the stories provide vivid images of Milwaukee and its inhabitants. Peck suggests the outlines of ethnic relations, social hierarchies and practices, and moral values common to the day.9. Tales of Old English Life by William Francis Collier, 1870. This book provides a detailed description of the life in England during the Old English period. The author has compiled a series of stories and illustrations that depict the daily life, customs, and traditions of the people during this time. 10.
