The artwork depicts a detailed peacock with its iconic plumage, created using traditional chokin techniques involving layered metals. The peacock is decorated with 24 karat gold and sterling silver inlaid onto a burnished copper background. Surrounding floral motifs are also intricately detailed with the same metals. The piece is framed in a teak wood frame showing some wear and marks consistent with its vintage condition. The background has a silver gradient effect enhancing the metallic elements.
