Large Persian-style Rug

Yamaha 5w practice amp made in the 70's/ 80's. Wooden cabinet is a bit beat up but notice the dove-tailing! Handle intact - 11"W case and 6" speaker.&nbsp; A Lotus guitar (also probably from the 80's), a house brand belonging to Midco International of Illinois. Lotus guitars were usually copies of better-known, up-market brand-name guitars, such as the Gibson Les Paul and the Fender Stratocaster. Yamaha G-5 Amp &#38; Lotus Guitar w/accessories

This softly-hued pair will instantly appeal to lovers of the quiet times of year. "Burning Off" centers a venerable fish shack, with its dock leading off into the fog. A quick pencil sketch of bait buckets and tackle box graces the dedication, signed also in pencil. &nbsp;In "Season's Out" we see a lone hunter gazing over a fence, next to a ramshackle small barn. The dedication comes under the pencil sketch of boots and hunting gear. Signed in pencil, as well. Both are double-matted and framed under glass in gold wood. American Girl Molly

Dramatic fore-shortening and horizon tilt gets this steam train barreling toward the viewer. The engineer hangs out the window to watch the track, and another figure can be glimpsed in the caboose bringing up the short train. Artist Rod Guthrie, 1938-2006, was the husband of Carole Guthrie, whose monotype is seen in Lot 15. Rod Guthrie's background was in industrial engineering; his love was making model railroad kits. And as evidenced here, he was an accomplished painter, with works in permanent collections in the US and abroad. This print from an original watercolor is titled, signed, and dedicated to the recipients in pencil.
