Lot of 2 Morgan 90% Silver Dollars.&nbsp;Years include 1896-O and 1889.<div><br></div><div>The Morgan dollar is a United States dollar coin minted from 1878 to 1904, in 1921, and beginning again in 2021 as a collectible. It was the first standard silver dollar minted since the passage of the Coinage Act of 1873, which ended the free coining of silver and the production of the previous design, the Seated Liberty dollar. It contained 412.5 Troy grains of 90% pure silver (or 371.25 Troy grains = 24.057 g; 0.7734 ozt of pure silver). The coin is named after its designer, United States Mint Assistant Engraver George T. Morgan. The obverse depicts a profile portrait representing Liberty, modeled by Anna Willess Williams, while the reverse depicts an eagle with wings outstretched. Its obverse represents the head and neck of the Goddess of Liberty in profile, and the reverse depicts a bald eagle at rest clutching an olive branch, with the legend "Peace". Two United States Peace silver dollars from 1923 and 1925 with 90% silver content. Coins feature the Goddess of Liberty profile on the obverse and have circulated condition.

Each coin has the head and neck of the Goddess of Liberty in profile on the obverse, with radiating spikes resembling a crown. Both coins show signs of wear consistent with circulated condition, including some tarnish and minor surface marks. The 1923 coin has more uniform wear with fewer dark spots, while the 1925 coin shows noticeable tarnish and discoloration, especially near the edge. The reverse side is not shown, but based on the type, they depict a bald eagle clutching an olive branch with the legend "Peace".
