American Listed Artist Signed Helen Narozny was born in Chicago, Illinois on June 29, 1887. She studied at the Art Institute of Chicago under Vanderpoel and taught art in the public schools of Illinois before settling in southern California in 1927. While a resident of Los Angeles in the 1930s, she was a pupil and painting partner of Elsie Palmer Payne.
