The piece has 3 drawers with center panels.&nbsp; The chest has original engraved brass pulls and wooden keyholes. The piece features specialty pin and cove joints (Knapp joints) on the drawers. It also has the original marble top which is removable. Vintage walnut cabinet featuring Asian or Far East inspired motif by Baker Furniture. Restored close to original finish with some surface scratches and a painted blue interior. Measures 33"W x 15"D x 71"H.

The cabinet is crafted from walnut wood with a rich, warm brown finish exhibiting a natural grain pattern. It has a distinctive top with a curved, scalloped pediment and ornate brass hardware, including hinges and handles that reflect the Asian or Far East design influence. The interior is painted blue, showing signs of age and wear, adding to its vintage character. The front metal panel on the right side is missing some brass nails but remains securely attached. The piece sits on bracket feet with a lower cabinet and three small drawers at the midsection.

This piece has been restored very close to the original finish and condition.  We have left the history which includes it dingy and surface scratches as we feel it gives it its personality.   The inside has been painted blue many moons ago.&nbsp;<div>A little about the company:The maker started business in 1890.  In 1927, the company was solely owned and renamed Baker Furniture Factories, Inc. The same year, Baker launched modern bedroom furniture from designers Joseph Urban and Kim Weber, leading the Modernist Movement in the United States. In 1932, the company launched its Manor House collection, the English inspired designs. Two years later, the company reached another landmark when it launched its Modern Chinese furniture. Throughout the 1940s and 1950s, Baker launched multiple collections.
