Lot #41: Cheri Blum Framed Artwork - "Inspirational Hydrangea II"

Cheri Blum's love of art began as a child when her grandfather, an aerospace draftsman, taught her perspective drawing. After working as an illustrator, Cheri moved to Washington, D.C., and studied in a decorative painting studio. She learned the techniques of faux, mural and trompe l'oeil, and applies them to her work. She is also influenced by the craftsmanship of the old masters. Blum often works on unusual surfaces such as cracked linen and likes to add a touch of whimsy to her work. This print is a beautiful rendition of a hydrangea with a quote from Mother Theresa "We Are All Called Upon To Do Great Things With Love". It measures, framed, 23" x 11".
