                <div>It seems odd to call a slicer beautiful but leave it to the Danes. This 1950s Eva slicer is built like a tank and shaped like a Italian sports car. The powder coated steel is a wonderful colour that walks the line between fiery orange and bright red. It can slice bread, cured meats and vegetables with an adjustment for slice thickness up to 3/4". Large African elephant sculpture made from metal coil shavings, attributed to blacksmith Amos Guta, featuring a coil-wrapped design and minor rust on underside of trunk.

Metal sculpture of an elephant crafted using intricately spiraled metal coils formed from industrial scrap metal shavings. The elephant has large coiled ears, a raised trunk curved upward at the tip, four sturdy legs wrapped in dense coils, and a curled tail. The metal exhibits a dark metallic finish with visible fine coil textures and a small area of light rust underneath the trunk. The sculpture measures approximately 25 inches long, 17 inches wide, and 15 inches tall.

1990s African Elephant Folk Art Sculpture Metal Coil

                 charming example of modern African folk art (possibly Zimbabwe). This large sculpture of an elephant has been made with the off cut coils or shavings created by machining metal. Like the intricate telephone wire baskets of South Africa, industrial scrap has been wonderfully transformed. The technique is credited to a former blacksmith, Amos Guta.                                Apple not included.<br>Condition: Light rust on the underside of the trunk. <br>Measurements: 25&#34; long x 17&#34; wide x 15&#34; high.
