She and Freddie emmigrated from Germany in 1948, landing in New York then to Canada where there were stops in Quebec City and London, Ontario, before settling in Toronto. Shortly thereafter, she embarked on what was ultimately to become an extensive and prolific career as a much recognized Canadian artist exhibiting in galleries across the country. Hanni won first prize at the Canadian National Exhibition art show. She represented Canada at the Canadian Government Pavilion Expo '67 and the Canadian Sport Art Exhibition at the 1976 Calgary Olympics. She sculpted the trophy given to each of the Canadian and Russian hockey players who participated in the 1972 original "Summit Series". The CBC made a short film of her work. Excellent no issues                <div>San Murata is an Ontario-based painter living in a historic small town near Toronto. Born in Japan, he graduated from the University of Musashi in Tokyo with a degree in Economics in 1964. In 1968, he travelled to Canada to have a look around, and liked it so much that he decided to stay. In Canada, he soon found himself building a career in graphic design and illustration, and worked for a time as an art director and designer for network television.San Murata started painting, full time in 1988, following a life-changing medical incident which caused him to leave the hustle of Toronto and move to the country.  He began by depicting scenes from places he had visited in Europe and continued to develop using his Canadian homes in Port Hope and then Grafton, Ontario. San visits Japan every year for three months having painting exhibitions and following his other love, jazz violin.  He has developed a style where his paintings depict everyday scenes in a technique described as folk art with a twist, using a unique colour repertoire to convey a sense of magic and whimsy. Recently he has celebrated scenery from closer to home, in Ontario and Quebec. He has had several exhibitions in Japan and Canada every year. most recently at public galleries and Museums. No issues                <div>J. Lim Biography(1932)A painter, printmaker, sculptor, author and illustrator, John Lim was born in Singapore and has lived in Toronto, Ontario, Canada since 1964. He held a solo show at the Shaw-Rimmington Gallery, Toronto. His work was noted by the Globe and Mail as follows, John Lim has ventured into his first bronzes, then modestly limited them to an edition of one only. One assumes it's modesty because his bronzes are fine enough to tempt a number of owners. Lim is cautious, restricting himself to a safe vocabulary. All sculptors eventually have to do a Daedalus and a Mother and Child and a Reclining Figure. He finished high school in Montreal and won one of fifty spots to attend the cole des Beaux-Arts. He left the school early when one of his professors told him there was nothing more they could teach him.Toller knew what he wanted. He moved to Toronto to train with legendary skating <span style="background-color: rgb(255, 193, 7);">icon&nbsp;</span>Ellen Burka and to paint and paint and paint. He had his first solo show well before his twentieth birthday.After years of skatingOlympics, world championships, Ice Capades, theatre and television he left Toronto for San Miguel de Allende, a colonial-era city in Mexicos central highlands. This UNESCO world heritage site is known for its baroque Spanish architecture, thriving arts scene and cultural festivals. Toller bought an estate with a garden paradise on which he lived, worked and created until his fatal heart attack on January 23, 2015 at the age of 65.In addition to creating thousands of oil paintings and exquisite line drawings, Toller experimented with materials beyond canvaspainting on ostrich eggs, wooden religious statues and furniture. He designed enormous elaborate chandeliers in metal and blown glass. He created a series of handwoven carpets. He organized a fashion show of hand-painted leather jackets and trench coats. Blue and green leather binding with marbled paper covers. Dimensions: 22.5cm x 16cm x 4cm (9 inches), 380 pages.

The book features a half-leather binding with green leather on spine and corners, and marbled blue, beige, and gold paper covers. The spine has raised bands with gold embossed floral motifs and gilt title. The edges of the leather show some peeling and wear, particularly on the spine. Inside covers show marbled paper matching the front and back cover design. The pages and illustrations are clean and bright. Ex-libris bookplate inside. Overall condition is good with slight wear on leather, clean pages, and intact binding.
