 The Pentax K1000 is a 35mm SLR film camera made by Pentax and produced between 197697.  This one was purchased new in 1981.&nbsp;<div>&nbsp; Classic Pentax K1000 features a basic light meter system, easy usability, and indestructibility that few 35mm SLR cameras offer.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; It comes with a strap, case, and flash attachment including batteries.                </div><br>Condition: The camera is clean, no scratches on the lens, dents anywhere, and has been looked after well.  Pentax K1000 35mm Film Camera With 50mm f/2 Lens

  Robin, born in England in 1939. Trained at Croydon College of Art (1956-1961).&nbsp;<div>&nbsp; He immigrated to Canada in1968. Taught in Toronto at Central Technical School, he set up and headed the Ceramics and Glass Department at Georgian College, Barrie, Ontario.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; In 1977 he relocation to Victoria, B.C. , and passed away in 2017.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; Just before his passing he received the Order of Canada.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; Robin Hopper used the (rh) stamp, chosin Pottery Canada, as well the (rh) stamp. This dates the piece between 1990 and 2000, as he only used the (rh) after that period.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; This is one of the largest pieces that I have seen made by Hopper.  White stoneware clay with one of his typical iron oxide variant designs.                                           </div>                <br>Condition: One handle has been broken, and repaired, note images.  Darrel Hancock is a respected potter in BC for over 40 years.&nbsp;<div>&nbsp; After graduating from Emily Carr College of Art in 1980, Darrel and Robert Bush formed Mainstream Pottery and worked together from 1980 to 1985.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; Darrel moved to Vancouver Island in November 2004 and settled in the Qualicum Beach area.&nbsp;</div><div> This is a large white stoneware thrown platter with intricate hand painted designs, and fish motif.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; This piece dates to around the year 2000.                </div><br>Condition: Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.<br>Measurements: 1.5  x  21.75  x  21.75

Darrel Hancock Large Serving Platter

 A rare hand formed antique finely painted Chinese porcelain hand painted small vessel, dating to the late 1700s.&nbsp;<div>&nbsp; One side has the design of the phoenix symbolizes that loyalty and honesty.  It is flying among cheery blossoms, resilience and perseverance in the face of adversity.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; The other side also depicts a phoenix above a lotus pond, meaning a lotus on one stem is a wish for shared heart and harmony.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; The Meander pattern on the top of the vessel means life giving rain and the abundance it brought to farming people.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; Both sides have the Waves Pattern (usually shaped in semicircles as found in woshui () pattern).  Representing the Tides and the Earth.                                </div><br>Condition: The vessel itself is in excellent condition, no chips, or cracks, but it is missing the lid<br>Measurements:  8.5 cm  x  6 cm  x  4.5 cm

 Bill Boyd attended Leksands Folkhogskola Art School in Sweden, in 1970.&nbsp;<div>&nbsp; He is influenced by Scandinavian Design and the Leach/Mingei aesthetic.&nbsp;</div><div> He moved to Canada and was one of the first potters to explore crystalline glazes. Bill Boyd Crystal Platter

 It is hand thrown porcelain body with panels of floral designs and foo dogs with a landscape scene in the middle.<div> Cobalt oxide was used in the first firing as a base. After decorations using chrome, iron oxide, copper, and other oxides in the second firing. The third firing was a clear glaze. The final firing the potter used 24 caret gold on top of the cobalt blue.                                               This bowl was made during the Meiji period 1870 to 1890.                                </div><br>Condition: Overall condition is excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs, but some wear of the gold finishes.<br>Measurements: 3.25  x  10  x  10

Large Japanese Hand Painted Imari Charger (1870 to 1890) 

 Robert, born in Santa Ana, California. While pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree, he was awarded the prestigious "Glen Lukins Award".&nbsp;<div>&nbsp; He became Head of Ceramics at the Sheridan School of Design in Oakville, Ontario.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; Workshops on glassblowing intrigued Robert. He helped to developed Canada's modern glass arts movement, and Robert operated his studio, Robert Held Art Glass, in Vancouver until his semiretirement.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; He then moved to Parksville where he opened a much smaller shop with only 2 staff. At 81 years old, he decided it was time to enter semi-retirement.                 </div><br>Condition: Excellent condition, no chips, or cracks<br>Measurements: 6  x  3  x  3 w/ Held Stamp on bottom.

Robert Held “Shasta Daisies” Square Vase

 January 3, 1931 ~ January 12, 2020.&nbsp;<div>&nbsp; Meg Buckley a long time potter from Salt Spring Island Pottery. Her chop mark is the MB on the bottom.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; Meg learned to pot in B.C. but was influenced by the U.K. Leach tradition.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; This piece is a light coloured stoneware with an expertly fitting lid.  Oatmeal glaze with brown/green banding.  Fired in a gas kiln.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; Made between 1980 and 1990.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; Oven safe, microwave safe, dishwasher safe.                       </div>                <br>Condition: Excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or crazing.<br>Measurements:  5.5  x  7  x  6

 Richard Royal is recognized world wide as a talented glassblower.&nbsp;<div>&nbsp; Royal began his career in 1978 at the Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; Royal worked for several years as one of Dale Chihulys main assistants.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; His work is found in public and collections: The High Museum (Atlanta, Georgia), the Daiichi Museum (Nagoya, Japan), and others.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; This piece is signed &amp; dated 1990.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; The glass is a swirling blue to turquoise and then clear on the edge.                </div><br>Condition: Note there in an interior crack which developed in the initial cooling process, and does not effect the integrity of the piece.<br>Measurements: 1.5  x  5  x  5

 Antique Grainger Lee &amp; Co Worcester Decal Dragon Motif Porcelain side plate.&nbsp;<div>&nbsp; Made in England by Thomas Grainger and James Lee between 1850-1880.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; While this pattern was used over a 60 year period, the details of the image vary.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; Example: The small dragon at the top in the 1850 to 1880 version  has the varied sized dots in the body and an arrow shaped tongue. Whereas the later versions after 1880 have the same size dots, and a blunt V shape for the tongue.                  </div><br>Condition:  Good condition, one small chip, but no cracks.  Belleek Porcelain known for its translucent clay body.&nbsp;<div>&nbsp; This vase is decorated with 4 panels of hand painted green shamrocks.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; There is an intricate raised design over the entire vase.                                      The Belleek mark dates it as the Third Green or Sixth Mark of 1965 - 1981.&nbsp;</div><br>Measurements: The height is around 5.5 inches and the base is 3.25 inches with a top opening of almost 2 inches.

 This is a three piece carving set;&nbsp;<span style="background-color: rgb(255, 193, 7);">&nbsp;cutting utensil,&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;fork and steel.&nbsp;<div>&nbsp; There is a matched set of <span class="bg-warning nswreasons" id="rid-70">antler</span> handles and 925 or sterling caps and roundels on each tool.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; The steel is made by George H.  Alto recorder with Baroque fingering.&nbsp;<div>&nbsp; Made by the Alexander Heinrich Company in Germany.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; Vintage from the 1950s or early 1960s.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; This recorder comes apart into 3 pieces, for easy cleaning.  It does not come with a carrying case.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; The final pinky key has a reaching lever in the shape of a musical note.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; 48 cm.  or 19 in length.  Plays well.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; This recorder is over 60 years old, and is in very good shape for the age.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; There is a varnish over the the pear wood.</div><br>Condition: Some wear at mouth piece, and some scratching, note images.<br>Measurements: See info. page.

Pear wood Alto Wooden Recorder

 Joseph Panacci has been a full time potter for over 50 years.&nbsp;<div>&nbsp; He now lives and works in Simcoe, Ontario.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; He strictly works in porcelain clays, and started off with celadon glazes, and has moved to other glazes using gas kilns and wood fired kilns to further develop his glaze colours.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; This small porcelain vase has a tomaku glaze with an overlay of another glaze.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; The porcelain is extremely thin, and light shows through the bottom and where the glaze is thinnest.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; The date on this pot say 80 for 1980.                </div><br>Condition: Excellent condition, no chips or cracks.<br>Measurements: 4.5  x  3  x  3

 Kayo was born in China, and immigrated to Canada in 1965.&nbsp;<div>&nbsp; His parents and grand parents were potters and he began potting at the age of 5 under their tutelage.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; Kayos work is the focus of numerous exhibits in prestigious museums, galleries, private and public collections worldwide. &nbsp;                                                </div><div> His work has also been the subject of two films: The Hand and the Spirit (TV Ontario, 1992) and Playing with the Fire (CBC Arts and Entertainment,&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp; The piece is finely thrown porcelain with copper red and tomaku brush decoration.
