1) Jack Olive grew up in Thunder Bay, Ontario, attended Moorhead State College in Minnesota. In 1971 he moved to Vancouver and was a founding member and director of the Vancouver Clayworks Society. Jack was an early proponents of photography being transferred onto glaze surfaces. Buff stoneware clay, sprayed and hand painted with rich coloured glazes. This one has Orca whales and an ocean scene. 4.75 x 4.25 x 3.25 2) Beaver Flats Pottery was situated in Edmonton, Alberta. A collective of potters of which Connie Pike was one of the potters. Textured buff clay, cine 6 electric fired with a copper green glaze. Bilingual Merci and "Thank you. Perfect for a French Immersion teachers gift. 4 x 4.5 x 3
