Lot #52: Vintage Light Me Up Lot

Vintage lot consisting of 3 pieces. A vintage metal plated match holder has the word matches cut out in the top, it holds a standard size box of safety matches - in this instance the match box is for Loblaws Club Matches. Although the box contains some sewing notions rather than matches check out the great graphics. The under-tray would take your spent matches. Hallmarks stamped on the underside. Needs a polishing but a great little piece. Measures 2 high x 4.75 diameter.The ceramic table lighter has a real mid mod feel to it. No makers identification but the metal lighter slides out and is stamped Made In Japan on the base. Measures 4.25 tall x 2.25 diameter. Smooth action to the lighter but needs a flint so I dont know how functional it is. Some minor pitting to the metal of the lighter. The ceramic body is in very clean condition with no chips, cracks or crazing.The very mod Ronson butane lighter has an iridescent almost fish scale pattern to it that gives the effect of an optical illusion when you play it back and forth in the light. Stamped Ronson Varaflame on base with various patent numbers. It too needs a flint so I dont know its functionality. There is a stain to the surface near the base of one side, probably a thumbprint where it was held repeatedly? I havent tried cleaning it. Not quite 2.25 tall x 1.5 wide.Sweet little collectors lot. Untested
