The tugboat is handcarved from solid wood and painted in bright colors including red, yellow, gray, and black. It features a small cabin with two vertical gray smokestacks. The smaller boat is also handcarved wood, painted with a pale blue interior, yellow seating slats, and cream and red exterior accented with carved rope detailing along the sides. The boats are connected by a natural string rope.
