Beautiful @ 1/2 pearl Mabe earrings. These lovely earrings were initialling studs that were converted to hook/loop earrings. I believe they were converted in gold but I cannot see any markings as a form of proof. Mabe pearls, with their distinctive half-dome shape, are generally less expensive than traditional spherical pearls, but their value can still vary significantly. Factors like size, luster, surface quality, and the type of oyster they're grown in (freshwater or saltwater) all play a role in determining price.
