K-Line UP Big Boy 4009W and Tender - W 

Production:  1956 - 1958 &amp; 1961 - 1963.&nbsp; The 2360 Pennsylvania Electric was the final GG1 produced during the postwar era. This prototypical engine continues to be a desirable item for collectors and operators. Its sheer weight and impressive size speaks volumes regarding the quality and workmanship built into the locomotive by Lionel. To this day, a postwar GG1 remains in a class by itself.The GG1's 4-6-6-4 wheel arrangement, dual pantographs and overall symmetry makes it an easily-recognized piece of railroading and model railroading history. When hit with a missile launched from a Lionel launching car or platform (not included), the car explodes into different pieces. &nbsp;</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 1rem;">The&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">Helicopter Reconnaissance Car, #3419, from the mid 1960s, launches a helicopter Type E, not included, from the roof platform, after a manual winder has been activated. &nbsp;</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 1rem;">The&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">Automobile Transport Car, #6414, also mid 1960s, comes with three cars. This engine is modeled after the Fairbanks Morse Train Master, the world's highest horsepower diesel engine when it was introduced in 1953. This model is in bright yellow and blue, with rubber-stamped yellow lettering, dual motors, Magnetraction, a three-position reverse unit that can be adjusted from underneath, headlights, interior lights at both ends, a battery-operated horn, wire handrails, and operating disc couplers. Flangeless innermost wheels. A beauty.</div><div>From K-Line, the KCC Exclusive PRR GG1, model K2780-49121C locomotive in dark red. Lionel Fairbanks Morse, K-Line,Williams - W 

From our research, the 611 Jersey Central Diesel Switcher was produced for two years, 1957 and 1958 and is an excellent representation of a real-life diesel switcher. Externally, this diesel had attractive, colorful and somewhat realistic decorations of its real life counterpart.&nbsp;Standard features of the 611 include: blue shell painted orange, white lettering on the blue mold and blue lettering on the orange cab, single axle Magnetraction, three-position E-unit (with the lever accessible from underneath the frame), single headlight, dual non-operating couplers plus a gold ornamental bell, silver ornamental horn and the Jersey Central logo printed in blue on the side of the cab.The frame was always black with a center skirt. End railings, as well as sheet metal steps, appeared at each end of the frame. The crew could walk from one unit to the next<div>Production:  1958 - 1966&nbsp;<div>History: The 2383 Santa Fe F3 AA's were the final chapter of Santa Fe F3's offered by Lionel in the postwar era. The impressive run of 19 consecutive years with a Santa Fe F3 in the Lionel catalogue ended in 1966. From the 2333 Santa Fe of 1948, through the 2343, 2353, 2243 and finally 2383, Lionel created an image and desire which is still being copied in today's O gauge market.Although the 2383's lacked many detailed exterior features of the earlier F3s, their durability was still top-of-the-line. As with all dual motored Lionel F3 diesels having magnetraction, when properly maintained these diesels will run as strong today as the day they were produced. Additionally, creative operators frequently use the B unit (from the 2243 Santa Fe AB set) to run with the 2383 AA diesels -- creating a perfectly matched and very impressive set of Santa Fe ABA diesels -- which are almost 39" in length!Finally, the 2383 was available as a separate sale item as well as the lead locomotive in sets. The Lionel New Haven (#C709) caboose is painted black with white lettering and a red New Haven logo. The Lionel Boston and Maine (#6017) caboose features a bright blue painted metal body with white heat-stamped logos and lettering, including the 'B & M' stylized logo. The Boston and Maine model has a steel chassis held by tabs and is equipped with AAR trucks and disc couplers. Both cabooses show detailed rivet work and rooftop cupolas, with metal ladders and handrails at ends. The Boston and Maine model has ladder slots and roof details consistent with production years 1959, 1962, 1965, and 1966.

Two Lionel Cabooses - New Haven C709 & Boston and Maine 6017

Boston &amp; Maine # 6017&nbsp; The Boston and Maine Caboose No. 6017-100 production spanned eight years and encompassed three different body types: Dies 1A, 3C and 4. The main difference was that this caboose came both with and without ladder slots. The BLUE painted body is held to the chassis with end tabs.spacerProduced in 1959, 1962, and in 1965 and 1966, the "B &amp; M" stylized logo and lettering is heat-stamped in WHITE on the sides. The blackened sheet metal chassis is held to the body with tabs and came equipped with AAR trucks that usually had one operating disc coupler.
