Lot #54: Civil war related CDV’s and GAR envelopes Bryant’s Pond Maine & Receipt

A couple of fun items with a Civil War era or veterans. There are two hand created CDs that look to be from a larger sheet. One is a Colonel or Captain or Ellsworth pulling down or putting up the union flag. As I recall, he was the first soldier shot in the Civil War And was protecting the American flag. The second is a soldier galloping on a horse and looks like a dispatcher. There are also two envelopes from the Bryants Pond GAR unit. The pictures are approximately 3 x 3 and the envelopes are approximately 5 x 7. Lastly, there is a receipt for May 1863 that is a military script for the receipt of 19 grain sacks, 2014 pounds of corn and 6 bushels of coal.
