Front of two early 1900s cancelled, stamped cheques from W.H. Dwer Co., with visible handwriting, stamps, and red postage stamps.

Two rectangular paper cheques measuring approximately 7.5 x 3 inches each. Both have printed text in cursive and block fonts, handwritten entries, and show significant signs of aging including discoloration and creases. Each cheque bears a red 2-cent Canada postage stamp affixed to the upper left corner. Multiple cancellation and bank stamps in purple, black, and blue ink cover parts of the cheques. The text includes the issuer's company name 'W.H. Dwer Co., Hay and Grain,' payable location Ottawa, and the payee 'Canadian Bank of Commerce.' Both cheques are dated in 1919 (June and July). The backs of the cheques show further stamped endorsements and cancellation marks in blue and purple ink.
