Modern water pitcher with two hand painted rabbits, produced by the Takahashi Trading Company. The bottom of this pitcher is labeled San Francisco, Japan, which stands for San Franciscos Japantown. The company was headquartered in San Francisco, CA but was associated with a Japanese-American family with a Japanese ceramic tradition. The business closed in 2019. During WWII, the two owners (husband and wife) who would start this company in 1945 were forced into a U.S. internment camp in Utah.&nbsp; Condition: No chips or cracks. Measurements: Height is 6.75.
