Lot #102: Kitchen Ware from the Past

Two forks, likely from the Civil War era, 1860s, are 3 prong forks with the metal shaft going through the handle, which may be a hard material or wood to the bottom of the handle. They are heavier than modern forks, and one has what appears to be a pewter inlay. Two vintage (19401950s) Heller Hostess Ware aluminum canisters for flour and sugar have lids, and a small serving scoop is included. A set of 4 graduated antique tin measuring cups is , 1/3, , and 1 cup with a small handle. A set of 6 steak cutting utensils marked Sheffield England Leppington stainless and are in a wood holder marked Made in England on the back. The cutting utensils are in like-new condition. A 2-cup measuring cup has a handle. Two vintage can openers and a potato peeler have been used previously and are still useful. A metal nutmeg grater adds to this antique/vintage collection.
