Merland Park is nestled on the shores of Picton Bay just two kilometers east of the town of Picton, in Ontario. We are a quiet small resort with thirteen modern cottages and three motel units located on over 3.5 acres of beautiful trees and laneways. We take pride in the cleanliness of our cottages and the maintenance of our property. Each cottage has a large picture window overlooking beautiful Picton Bay. Our serene surroundings offer a tranquil care-free holiday. You can spend time relaxing on your deck taking pleasure in the lovely Picton sunsets or explore the many activities nearby. Take a leisurely drive through scenic Prince Edward County, enjoy Sandbanks Provincial Park with its excellent beaches or visit the many local wineries and gourmet restaurants. Although we leave you to vacation at your own pace, we do offer a large swimming pool, playground area & bouncing castle, a lovely waterfront, a boat launching ramp and docking facilities. Picton Bay, which is all part of the Bay of Quinte waterway, has deep clear water perfect for playing on the water and excellent for fishing! The Bay is renowned for its trophy walleye, bass, pike, sheepshead and trout. Linen: For nightly and weekly cottage rentals, blankets & pillows are supplied but please bring your own bed linen, bath and beach towels. All bed linens and bath towels are provided in our motel units, however, please bring your own beach towels. *Bed linen & towels can be supplied for the cottages at an additional charge. Please Note: There is no maid service. We ask that you please leave the cottage in the same condition that you found it and report any damages to the office. Pets: Pets are welcome in any of our rental units for an additional charge of $50.00 per stay (maximum). Dogs must be leashed on the resort grounds unless the owner is playing fetch or allowing dog to swim.
