Lot #6: RARE Antique 1932 Knights of Pythias Sterling Silver Two-Tone Medal-Toronto Lodge No. 30

This striking and well-preserved fraternal medal dates to 1932 and was awarded to W.M. Boal, Past Chancellor (P.C.), of the Toronto Lodge No. 30, Knights of Pythias(fraternal organization/secret society). Crafted in sterling silver(tested) with gold-toned detailing, the ornate design features a knights helmet, crossed battle axes, and a shield inscribed with the core values of the order: F.C.B. (Friendship, Charity, Benevolence).The reverse of the medal is engraved with the lodge name and year, alongside a silver hallmark marked T SILVER. The medal is housed in its original purple velvet-lined presentation case, complete with snap closures and foldable flaps, preserving its elegance and authenticity.A rare and beautifully detailed piece of early 20th-century fraternal regalia perfect for collectors of secret society memorabilia, Masonic-related items, or Canadian historical artifacts.In excellent vintage condition with minor age-related patina.
