Lot #96: In celebration of the Potter

Sold for

$1.00

Time Remaining:

Closed

End time:

2 lovely plates to celebrate your love of pottery collecting or the skill of a good potter.  The  plate created for Homer Laughlin's participation in the Joint Exhibit of Capital and Labor for the New York 1939 Worlds Fair was made in many of the traditional Fiesta Ware colours.  The English tribute is based on the largest piece of Wedgwood ever made.  Two extraordinary pieces dated 1939 and 1949.
Unless noted, all items are second hand and may have flaws or missing pieces I have not noticed or am unaware of. I will answer any questions and try to take pictures that adequately describe each item.

Condition: excellent. There seem to be a few small blue dots on the Laughlin plate.
Measurements: Fiesta. 7", Wedgwood 10.75"
