Perfume and Triple Mirror

Beautifully designed and produced volume of Robert Frost poems, in the October 1923 first edition from Henry Holt and Company. This collection garnered Frost his first Pulitzer, and contains some of his best-loved poems, including "Fire and Ice," "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening," and "Nothing Gold Can Stay." Dark blue paper-covered boards with a green linen-covered spine, gilt impress on front and spine. Several evocative woodcuts by J.J. Lankes. In dustjacket, unclipped to show original price, with some wear at corners and very slight foxing. Robert Frost &#34;New Hampshire&#34; 1st edition

A graceful hall clock in maple, with hand-painted enameled metal face, signed "C.H. Locke, Painter," and ornate metal hands. Tells time and date. Chippendale styling features a split pediment, arched clock face, columns to either side of the face with brass details, small glass windows on each side, scrolled skirting. Handwritten decal indicates 1948 as date of manufacture. Pendulum and weights are included, along with winding arm, shims, and a pamphlet from Old Sturbridge Village about old clocks. The case is in good condition; the workings need restoration. You must bring help. Swinging 50s-60s bar ware! Six highball glasses with grape motif, signed George Briard. Briard was a renowned mid-century designer, whose wares were sold in high-end specialty stores such as Neiman Marcus. His pieces are now sought-after collectibles, and this set is in excellent shape, no chips. A set of four "Under the Sea" double old-fashioned glasses features lavender and gold fish, with a magenta base, signed Psyche, in gold. No chips. A spent jar from the Typographeum in Francestown, N.H. with explicit directions on how to preserve your leather book spines, three small fossils found in a limestone quarry in Ohio, an arrowhead?, a puffy pin cushion with bisque arms and head in need of a wig, an incense burner, child's tea set and most curious of all, a hollowed-out wooden tube inscribed "copper bolt passed through this. Vintage Westinghouse Mobilaire Floor Fan

A charming collection of hand-painted antique stoneware is decorated with strawberries on the vine, and includes 12 cups, a tea pot, sugar and creamer, a bowl, 2 small plates, and 11 deep saucers. Some small areas of discoloration, a couple of cracks, but overall in good condition given age and use. No marks, with the exception of some figures we weren't able to identify on the bottom of the sugar bowl. Maple spindle-back Brewster sidechair with intact rush seat. Close to floor height, with three back spindles, sausage turning on legs, stretchers, and back. Includes 34" x 15.5" trumeau mirror with painted pastoral scene and turned wooden frame.

Vintage Brewster sidechair made from maple with a tightly woven rush seat. Chair features three vertical spindles in the backrest and decorative sausage turning on legs, back, and stretchers. The chair has a warm medium brown finish. The trumeau mirror is 34 inches tall by 15.5 inches wide, with a simple dark turned wooden frame. The upper part of the mirror has a painted pastoral scene depicting a cottage, trees, and a bridge in muted greens and yellows. The mirror has a folk art aesthetic and is solidly constructed but assembled rudimentarily.

Spindle-back Brewster Chair and Trumeau Mirror

Tight, intact rush seat on this maple sidechair.
