Round cupro-nickel coin enclosed in a square hard plastic case. One side of the coin shows a profile portrait of Sir Winston Churchill with the years 1874 and 1965 and the inscription 'SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL COMMEMORATIVE CROWN'. The portrait on this side is detailed with Churchill's distinctive facial features and glasses. The reverse side shows the young Queen Elizabeth II portrait by Mary Gillick with the inscription around the edge. The coin has a silvery metal appearance with some signs of age and handling visible on the case.
