Lot #12: Twelve Enamelled Sterling Silver Canadian Souvenir Spoons

Twelve small souvenir spoons are all marked as Sterling Silver and have enamelled accents. Eleven have engraved place names on the bowls including: Fernie BC, Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Sault Ste Marie, Peterborough, Niagara Falls, Cornwall and Montreal. One spoon has the Manitoba Coat of arms on the end and no town name on the bowl. The enameling includes maple leaves on most of the spoons, two have the Manitoba coat of arms and one the BC arms, and two from Peterborough have good luck horseshoes and four leaf clovers in addition to the maple leaves. The two from Manitoba and the one from BC have full figure First Nation Chiefs holding the provincial coat of arms. The spoons are small and range in length from 3 5/8 to 4 7/8 inches. They are overall in very good vintage condition with only minor enamel loss or slight bends in the handle that do not detract.
